For the life of our custom knife, we offer free re-sharpening. Just pay for shipping and we will gladly give your knife a revived edge.
Your Abeyta Bladeworx knife should only need a light stropping with rouge and a leather strop in between stone sharpening.
* Please note that sharpening on a belt grinder risks overheating the edge bevel beyond the tempering temperature and can ruin the knife's ability to hold an edge and function as intended.

*Please note that while we guarantee initial keenness and a precision-honed finish upon delivery, long-term edge longevity is inherently dictated by the metallurgy and heat treatment of the blade. Performance characteristics vary significantly among unbranded or ungraded alloys, we cannot provide a formal guarantee regarding edge retention or durability over time for knives of unknown steel composition.
Package a blade to ship
To ensure your knives arrive safely and stay sharp, please follow these simple packing instructions:
1. Secure the Blades
Cover the blade in a carboard sheath and secure to knife with tape, or use several layers of newspaper. Do not place tape directly on blade, it can trap moisture and lead to corrosion/rusting
Ensure the tip is fully covered and cannot pierce through the packaging.
2. Bundle and Cushion
Place your wrapped knives together and wrap the entire bundle in bubble wrap or padding. Place the bundle in a sturdy shipping box—never use a padded envelope, as blades can easily slice through them during transit.
3. Fill Empty Space
Fill any gaps in the box with crumpled paper or packing peanuts so the knives do not shift when the box is shaken.
4. Seal and Label
Tape all seams of the box securely. For your protection, we recommend using a shipping service with tracking and insurance. Do not write "knives" on the box
